Skin and Bones is a progressive alternative rock band from Brisbane, Australia (for the folk/blues duo, see Skin & Bones. Taking elements from post-hardcore, hard rock, indie, folk and blues, Skin and Bones is an amalgamation of music and art formed in early 2011 as a creative outlet for brothers Callan and Jordon. 2011 saw the release of 'Patience', a five song EP that stunningly showcased the talent and pursuits of the brothers and third founding member, James. Joined by Rory in 2012 the band finalised their line up and recorded what would be a second, as of yet unreleased, EP and played a variety of shows securing themselves a spot in Brisbane's alternative scene. Hardship struck in 2013 when James announced he would be leaving the band.
