Artist
Due to conflicting issues with split artist profiles, this page was created to scrobble the shortlived 90's R&B girl group Skillz, as oppossed to the rap artist dominating the page for Skillz. Skillz were a short-lived female R&B group from the 90’s that came and went as soon as they arrived on the music scene. The members consisted of Kim Jefferson, Dena Bacon, Charlotte Hardnett, Renita Maiden, and Dena Hardeman. In 1995, they released their debut album “Promises” on Raging Bull Records. It’s unknown how or if the album ever charted. In November of that same year, their only single, “Just Fa My Man” peaked at #69 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles chart, staying on the chart for 8 weeks. After that, it seemed as if Skillz had faded into obscurity. Nothing much has been heard from them since.
