Sketch Show reunites two YMO members, (Yukihiro Takahashi and Haruomi Hosono). Sketch Show's music is Downtempo, IDM and click n' cut influenced. Their music features a lot of acoustic elements, clicky sampeld rhythms together with drum machines, as well as warm, bright sounding synth parts. With all of this abstract arrangement they manage to compose a lot of very soft sounding electronic pop songs, as well as some more experimental cuts. Sketch Show debuted in 2002 at the WIRE02 event. They soon followed with their first album Audio Sponge that same year and followed up with the 2003 release of their second full-length album, Loophole. A remix album followed in 2004 with remixes by Prefuse 73, Team Doyobi, Cornelius, Opiate, Atom™ and others.
