Skammens Vogn is a Danish rock trio, known for blending poetic lyrics with eclectic and original musical compositions. Formed in 2005, the group consists of childhood friends Nikolaj Zeuthen (vocals and lyrics), Oliver Hoiness (guitars and keys), and Jakob Millung (bass and drums). Their music is celebrated for its artistic depth, minimalistic arrangements, and emotional resonance. The band’s roots trace back to a lifelong friendship. In 2005, musicians Hoiness and Millung approached Zeuthen, an author and poet, to contribute lyrics to their compositions. This collaboration evolved into a project that fuses Zeuthen’s literary sensibilities with the duo’s musical approach. Skammens Vogn first gained significant attention in Denmark with their 2013 album, Asfalt, which marked a turning point in their career. Since then, the trio has continued to grow their audience, releasing a total of eight albums, including their 2023 release, Spacebaby.
