The band Skítur was formed by Óli(drums), Arnór(guitar) and Todo(bass). Since it’s establishment there has been a couple of changes in the line-up. Todo took control of the Microphone when Jón Örn (our old singer) decided to back down from the music-makin’-business and Jón (Kristján Páll Kristjánsson) took Todo’s place and began strangling the bass. Later we decided that we had to have two guitar players, so Jón (Kristján Páll Kristjánsson) moved his strangling technique on to the guitar and Kobbi was enlisted to play the bass. We play hardcore music, heavy, fast, you name it. But how to pinpoint the actual word for this kind of music? We think "death-metal-skull-chaos-grindcore" pretty much sums it up.
