http://www.sivanlevy.com/ Sivan Levy is an Israeli-born actress, director and singer-songwriter. Her film career launched in ‘Burning Mooki’, directed by Lena and Slava Chaplin (2009). In 2011 she played the lead role in ‘Joe and Belle’. In 2012 she did her first French-speaking role as ‘Ava’ in ‘Inch’Allah’, a French-Canadian feature film produced by ‘Micro_Scope’ (“Incendies” , “Monsieur Lazhar”) Levy played in various television roles, amongst them: ‘Imalle (Mommy)’ on prime time TV (Channel 2), directed by Ram Nehari (2009); ‘Room Service’, directed by Eitan Aner (2009); ‘In the Prime of Her Life’, a modern adaptation of the works of Israeli renowned author Shai Agnon, also directed by Lena and Slava Chaplin (2010); TV series ‘Yechefilm’, directed by Ori Sivan (2011); ‘House of Wishes’, directed by Haim Bouzaglo (2013). Levy played the lead role of Gili in the critically acclaimed feature film ‘Six Acts’, Directed by Jonathan Gurfinkel. For this performance she received several awards for best leasing actress including the Israeli film Academy award for 2013. Sivan had created and starred in multiple successful short films. ‘Cherchez la femme’ (2008), featured on ARTE, and was presented at the ‘Tel Aviv Museum of Arts’ and at the “Berlinale 59”; ‘Water Wells’ (2010) where she also composed the original soundtrack, achieving worldwide festival exposure; ‘Dina & Noel’ (2012) once again presented in “Berlinale 63” - “Generation 14+” and “Teddy”.
