Sister Siren was officially formed on September the 20th 2008, although it has been around for a year before that. In August Sofia (Vocals) And Shamala (keyboard) joined Lenka (Bass)- and reformed their ideas into something new. The New Beginning. Sister Siren quickly establishes themselves in Ukraine. It is a breath of fresh air for those who miss some real music, especially coming from Female artists. Girls can play live, they live on stage, they write their own music and lyrics, and they bring their ideas to life, experimenting with sounds. Sister Siren being so young already accomplished quite a few goals. First they stirred the country with their debut video "Trideo", featured with one of the most successful and beloved ukrainian rock-band GreenGrey. Their Debut video did catch critics eyes. It was unusual for someone so young to put their feet down with a video like that. Huge post production work, colorful Alice-In-Wonderland story. As some said very psychodelic and captivating. SisterSiren receives their first award, for The Best Video. The Second award was at the MTV's Hip Hop r'n'b awards. Although the band has nothing to do with hip hop, they still managed to get noticed even in that field. This time they received the award for the best r'n'b remixed track.
