Sister Ernestine Washington (Ernestine Beatrice Thomas, 16 July 1914 - 1 July 1983) was an American gospel singer. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA, Ernestine Washington was married to Rev. Frederick D. Washington. She recorded intensively from 1943 to 1948.
