The Do-Dads were basically the Stax Records house band of the late 50's/early 60's, led by the prodigiously talented Isaac Hayes. The members of the Do-Dads, including George Hudson (trumpet) and Edward Skinner (drums), traded of with the MG's backing up every major hit single coming out of the Stax vaults during that era.
