Sins of the Watchmen

Sins of the Watchmen was the name of Jak Noble's Experimental Metal solo project between autumn 2007 and early 2009, based in Bristol, UK. He currently goes by the name Returning We Hear the Larks. In 2005, Noble began his solo project using his own name and wrote mostly Experimental Hard Rock music, as an expression of his own musical taste in contrast to the Pop Punk project Lentil that he was working on (and still is, to this day) with his younger brother, George. However, as his musical ideas developed, he began to record heavier and more technical Metal fused with Electronica and renamed his project 'Murder on the Dancefloor'. Murder on the Dancefloor continued through 2007 as mostly a recreational project, where Noble would release a demo on his MySpace page every weekend, but he did write a self-titled E.P. in the summer, which he publicised over the internet. In the late summer, an American Deathcore band going by the same name requested that Noble change his. To avoid any sort of action, Noble obliged and renamed his project Sins of the Watchmen. With a new name came another change of style. During the previous year, Noble had become interested in the conspiracies surrounding the Mayan-predicted 2012 apocalypse and stories of beings known as Nephilim that were supposedly linked (from which he developed the name Sins of the Watchmen).
