Sink Ships began playing in late 2009 and consists of two Australians, a Dane, a Canadian and a Swede, all living (for various unsavoury reasons) in Copenhagen. Sink Ships blends late-night alt-country with lo-fi, electric Americana, giving a nod to influences like Red House Painters, M. Ward, Whiskeytown and Gillian Welch.
