Based out of the San Francisco Bay, Sin Vida is influenced by several genres of music including punk, hardcore, grind, metal, thrash, and crust. They have been playing music together since 2009. Before then, Dave (vocals and guitar) and Jerry (drums) played in Life Without. After Life WIthout stopped playing, Sin Vida was formed by adding Jen (vocals) and Jay (vocals and bass). The band started writing music and recording, eventually self-releasing a split LP with LIfe WIthout in August 2011.
