There are at least 6 artists or bands with this name: 1. Lithuanian pop singer started her career in TV music realitty show "kelias į Žvaigždes" second season. 2. Simona, an experimental rock band from Mexico City, started composing music in 2006; their sound (inspired by concept bands such as Pink Floyd, NIN and Mogwai)is a combination of ambient, shoe-gaze, post-rock, psychedelic elements. Their live act is well recieved, because of their energetic stage presence; projections, lighting, and ambient noises are utilized to solidify their performance. In 2006, they recorded a 3 song EP, with Diablito Records; record label that help launch the carreers of heavyweights such as ZOE, Bengala, and Los Dynamite. They have shared the stage with Kinky, Sub-Division, Ely Guerra, Chikita Violenta, Tanke; they are gaining attention from fellow musicians and with the release of the single: ¨don´t chu get it?¨ in 2007, they plan spread their sound, and solidify their place in the new era in mexican rock. 3. Simona, is an up & coming psych-art rock/dance outfit hailing from Mexico City; their sound is schizophrenic to say the least.
