Simge Pınar is a 27-year old melody maker and singer-songwriter from Istanbul. Inspired and moved by the healing effect of words and melodies since young age, Simge discovered that she could best express herself through music and has been recording her life story ever since. Following her engineering education she briefly worked at a corporate firm. After her path crossed ways with Harun Tekin (the front man of turkish rock giants mor ve ötesi) in a workshop, she found the courage to pursue her dreams and decided to dedicate her time and energy to music. Her first performance was at Sofar Istanbul and she is currently working on her first album which is being produced by Harun Tekin. Simge likes Gülten Akın poems, long walks on rainy days and finding playing cards in the middle of nowhere.
