Simão dos Anjos de Gouvêa (fl. 1600-1611) was a 17th Century Portuguese composer. Simão dos Anjos de Gouveia was a disciple of the great master of the Évora school Manuel Mendes. It is known that he became a member of the Congregation of Secular Canons of Saint John the Evangelist (aka "Frades Loios"). Around 1600 he succeeded Pedro Talésio as master of the Chapel of the Hospital Real de Todos os Santos in Lisbon. In 1622 he is given as master at the Church of São João Batista in Tomar.
