In 2009 Silverfall was renamed to Vandeville Falls (http://www.vandevillefalls.com). Silverfall are fronted by lead singer Jenny Bailey. Hailing from Mexborough in South Yorkshire she brings a certain maturity and innocence, along with heartfelt lyrics to her songs. The band was formed 2 years ago and has been giging predominantly in the North but are now signed to Tired Horse Records and are recording their first album in London with producer Ian Grimble. Ian has worked on projects from The Beautiful South Texas and Manic Street Preachers . The album is due out in Jan 2009 with a single release scheduled for this October.The band conjure up comparisons to The Cranberries and The Sundays and Jenny's voice in particular is a throw back to the likes of Stevie Nicks. Silverfall have signed a publishing deal with Respect Music Ltd (Sharon Dean) and are represented by Dawson Breed Music (Debra Downes) and Quite Great promotions.
