The Silver Leaf Quartette Of Norfolk founded around 1920 is a vocal harmony ensemble from the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia. In 1923 the group added Melvin Smith, who soon became the leader. They recorded some memorable traditionals like 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken" and "I Am A Pilgrim".
