From their website: Silver Cross was formed in 2005 by Filip Van Lysebeth when he left a past of jazz, rock and metal behind to start a new and experimental project. Together with his sister Nele some particular elements – like de bass guitar, moog-keyboards and spoken vocals – were put together into a unique project. Some live musicians also participated in the live performances, like Sabin Nijs, Griet Van Dingenen, Gert Schaillée, Fred Vekemans en Marjan Jacobs. After the positive response by the audience Silver Cross went to the studio to record a first album in February and March 2007. It contained the 10 songs out of the concept story on which the band had worked a year and a half. It tells a great tragedy about Heaven and Hell, with only one witness, the Silent Witness. Each song tells the experience of another character. The album was named “In All Memories”, out of the ballad Lost in Tears. The recording was a unique time in which was worked together with a professional and enthusiast team. Germain Heyvaert from Studio Beatexplorer as well as Tony De Block from Midas Studios took part in the recording and mixing process. Also Griet Van Dingenen completed the album with some beautiful backing vocals. On the 14th of April ‘In All Memories’ was presented in the home base of the band, at Ghent. After this more and more performances followed, and Silver Cross got name in both Belgium and other countries by the many positive reactions out of the press. "Opener
