Sid De La Cruz was born in San Jose, California and is a film, video game, and concert composer. He studied music composition at San Jose State University with Grammy nominated and Grammy winning professors. He then was offered a scholarship to Claremont Graduate University, where he continued his musical studies and received his Masters degree, also in music composition. While attending Claremont Graduate University, he also had the privilege to study with a Grammy nominated professor and an active concert composer. During his final semesters at Claremont, he simultaneously attended UCLA's Film Scoring program and was a recipient of the prestigious BMI Jerry Goldsmith Film Scoring Scholarship.
