Shut Your Mouth started in 2006 by Evan Hughes, Drew Gabriel, and Scott Brooke while attending the same middle school together. Based out of Antioch, IL (Lake County), the three have played all over the county and are currently looking for more shows anywhere available. Drawing from artists belonging to generas such as punk, hardcore, alternative, pop-punk, electronic, and all of their respective branches, Shut Your Mouth forms a discipline of post-pop-punk/alternative songs which become more refined through each succession of releases put out by the trio. *Shut Your Mouth did not derive their name from any existing bands or their songs. It's a nonsense type of thing which was meant as a place holder for something they grew too tired to condor up.
