DJ Short-e, a New Yorker, made the same decision his father made years earlier--to venture from his home on a quest for greater opportunities. In 1996, Short-e headed to South Florida where he quickly became a force in the nightlife and music scene. His talents lead him to perform at some of the hottest clubs and lounges such as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Karu & Y, Club Tantra, Blue Martini, Club Skye, Rain Lounge, Headliners, Hyde Park Café and Whiskey Park. Today, he serves three markets—New York City/Miami/Tampa Producer In 2004, Short-e created and produced "The Short-e Show", a TV program, which features celebrity artist interviews, music videos and high profile red carpet events. The show first aired on UPN44 and immediately began to receive high ratings due to its entertaining and exclusive content. Akon, Neyo, Rick Ross, Pitbull, Sean Kingston, Wyclef, and Flo-Rida are just a few names that have appeared on his show, accompanied by Playboy Playmates, models and professional athletes. Product Endorsement With continued success in the music and entertainment industries, doors to other opportunities quickly opened. He gained tremendous exposure when, the cell phone giant T-Mobile chose him to star in a national internal video campaign, which highlights “A Day In The Life Of DJ Short-e” using his Sidekick cell phone. Guest Appearances In 2008, Short-e has returned to the NYC area, where he continues to perform for some of the City’s best promoters and nightclubs.
