Having formed in 2017, Shoegazers is now a far-cry from the Atlanta-based acoustic project it started out as. It’s been years of effort and searching, and lineup-change after lineup-change for them to be where they’re at now; a hard-rocking power pop trio that’s ready to play the long game in the twisted and ever-changing post-covid music industry. Playing songs about love, heartbreak, and anxiousness/depression, the band have a cathartic approach to songwriting and performing; using it as a means of reflection and contemplation for themselves, and, hoping that others will find the same release in their music as they do.
