Shockheads - a young Ukrainian band from Kiev, was founded in early 2009 by two friends, Boris Yergiyev and Roman Sapielkin, which became, respectively, bassist and guitarist / vocalist of the newly formed band. After changing a few drummers, the group brought the current drummer Anton Gorobchuk. Shockheads first song was written at the end of March 2009. The band's style can be described as a mix of classic rock with indie and alternative, in conjunction with the Ukrainian-texts is a very interesting phenomenon (the texts can be translated into English or Russian). It should be noted winsome vocals and childish lyrics, fun, aggressive guitars, economically expressive drums, catchy, interesting compositional moves. In music, the group clearly traced the influence of Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Muse, as well as many other music: from punk bands 70's to psychedelic Pink Floyd music.
