At 22 years old with every aspiration to sing and song write, it’s evident she’ll be giving up no time soon. As her most recent music will let you know, she was memorizing & pitching perfect melodies before mastering speech. Introvert, distant & calm describes the being that is Shoa, yet her music gives you an insight into her thoughtful & socially provoked mind state. At 5 years old she found peace in performance and recognized no words go unspoken when she is in possession of a pad & pen. Relying on the art of ‘Escapism’ to relieve her from everyday stress resulted in the perfect concept and title for her 1st mixtape release in 2013. She's learnt that escaping from the life you’ve created can only get you so far and with that in mind she turned her outlook into poetry, spoke the words in a melody & stumbled upon new music.
