Shirley Anne Hoffman (b. Canada, 1959) is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer. She plays several brass instruments (tuba, euphonium, et.al.), keyboards (piano, accordion,et.al.), and is known for her experimental use of the voice. She studied in Montreal and moved to Switzerland in the 1980s to pursue her interest in Central European Folk music and the European avant-garde/avant-prog community. As such, she has since played with such artists as Nimal, L'Ensemble Raye, Momo Rossel, Bratko Bibic, Orkester Ben Jeger and her own ensemble, Euphoria. She has released several albums on LabelUsiness Records including Alptraum, From The Depths and Shirley Anne Hoffman & Euphoria Live.
