about

Shinjuku Mad (stylized as 新宿 MAD) was an electronic band from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada formed in 2008 by Patrick Driscoll and Curtis Ferguson - later both to be known as Blank Banshee and Cormorant respectively. The two began making music in high school and, as Shinjuku Mad, they released two full length albums. In 2008, they recorded "Organic Thoughts From The Synthetic Mind", which was released in 2009 and distributed for free. Self-titled album "Shinjuku Mad" was recorded and released in 2010, and received a limited run on CD and cassette. This was the final release from the band, as both Driscoll and Ferguson disbanded in 2011, the year which found them in new creative territories. The complete Shinjuku Mad discography was reissued by Hologram Bay in March 2019. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
