Shield was a straight edge hardcore band from Umeå, Sweden, founded in 1993. Shield appeared on the compilations Straight Edge as Fuck (Desperate Fight Records) and realesed two records: the debut-EP Build Me Up... Melt Me Down... , followed by the LP called Vampiresongs in 1995.
