Shibui are from Doylestown, PA. They have not signed to any label and have no albums released as of yet, but their promotional EPs have been met by general critical praise. The music is said to be full of metaphors and underlying meaning. They are Luke Ingoldsby on drums and lead vocals, Jim Pepper on bass, Eric Anderson on saxophone and electronic boxes with black and white keys, and Chris Dougherty on guitar. An album is due out by the fall of 2006, although the band has stated that they are under no obligation to meet this deadline.
