Cheryl Tobler, Shannon Dove, and Brent Holl are Shen Fine. Cheryl plays Olwell flute and Burke Whistles, Brent plays Martin 6-string and Takamine 12-string guitars and sings, and Shannon plays Guild 6-string and 12-string, bodhran, and sings. Shannon writes songs for the group and Brent arranges them. Shen Fine has released five CDs and three are still in print. Granny Mary released in the spring of 2005, features several original songs and showcases the band’s ability to perform not only Celtic material, but blues, folk, and old-time as well! Shen Fine's released Primer and the Paint in 2006. This recording features friends of the band, Jessica Holl Kennedy on vocals and Bart Reardon on guitar along with Shannon, Brent, and Cheryl Tobler, who just returned to the group from a research trip to Scotland for her doctoral studies in ethnomusicology. Several original songs by Shannon Dove are featured including the title track, "Primer and the Paint." “The Songs” was released on St. Patty's Day 2009 and features the dynamic vocal blend of Brent and Shannon on originals and traditional celtic songs.
