about

Shell Beach is a post-hardcore band hailing from Budapest, Hungary. Members include Zoltán Totik (ex-Velvet Stab), Attila Horváth (Subscribe), Dániel Ivánfi (ex-Blind Myself), Mátyás Mohácsi (the Idoru), Pál Somló (ex-Buried By Time)- of the hungarian hardcore music scene started Shell Beach in 2005 as a side project. The project worked out so good, that it became a primary thing in all of their lives. They play melodic, yet intelligent post-hardcore, with a heavy influence of both Refused and Underoath. Their first album Acronycal came out in the summer of 2007 at EDGE records and their first video for the song "Are We OK" started getting airplay on MTV Hungary in 2008 January. They released their full-length This Is Desolation in 2013 and then the EP Changes X Restless X Faithless in 2016. In 2021 the song Hero was released with a music video: youtube.com/watch?v=jlPUQ32LVWc facebook.com/shellbeachband User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
