From the beginning Shelby ALWAYZ had a song in her HEART & a SMILE on her face!! She has been singing since age 4 when she joined the St. James Gospel Choir directed by her mother, Mamie Johnson. Her 1st solo..."Jesus Loves Me", of course!! That day a SPARK was ignited in this future World Renowned Southern Soul Singer!! Since those early days Shelby has learned by working with the BEST in the business, both in recorded media & television. She's been blessed to work with Groove Theory,Mary J. Blige,Chante'Savage ,QuestLove,Eric Benet, Jack "J.K." King, Queen Aminah, JJ Sansaverino, Solan Lerner, Chris Rob, Duron Lev, Fred McFarLane, Frank Lacy, James Poyser, Damon Mendez,Elisabeth Withers-Medez,Freddie Jackson,RedHead,Bill White, Nickelodeon, CESD Talent Agency and more. Shelby was the voice of the highly sucessful "Right Here, Right Now, K-Mart" ad campaign.The jingle,which ran nationally,debuted during the World Series!
