One of the many artists/bands that uses the name Shark Bait is a screamo/folk/emo band formed in Louisiana. With members of many other local bands Shark Bait have recently released 'Growing Pains,' Still Growing'and a split with Adaje available at their bandcamp. You can find them at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shark-Bait/108591182530199 A Dutch band that was founded in Haarlem, The Netherlands by bass-player Tim Verwaal and keyboard-player Remon Rijper in 2008. On the internet they found the other bandmembers: Sebastiaan Weerman (guitar), Bas de Keijzer (drums). Their website can be found on www.shark-bait.nl Another band that was named Shark Bait was a San Francisco based industrial/noise/improv 'troupe" of musicians and performance artists. They were one of those "must be seen live" to trully appreciate kind of groups. They used background walls of noise, tape loops, lots and lots of metal percussions and other various percussions, distorted vocals, both male and female. But their main strengths lie in their legendary live performances, complete with light show, projected movies and slides, performance art (usually primal and sexually charged), and about a dozen people on stage, making noise, beating on drums or springs or metal sheets, blowing flames, having sex (lesbian and hetero and anything else), reading poetry...audience participation was encouraged. it was a full audio-visual experience, musically closely resembling Einstürzende Neubauten but still fresh and or
