Jerry Only was once asked what "We Are 138" was about, and he said that it had something to do with robots. When Danzig was asked the same question, and told of Jerry Only's response, he said, "I wrote that song, and it's about power and violence." We like to think that our songs live somewhere between both of those answers. We are not machines, we are nothing new, and our influences are nailed to our foreheads. We are passionate and flawed, and we think that is something refreshing. Sometimes we speed up or slow down while we're playing, and that means we're excited. Hopefully, if we've done this right, that means you're excited too. There is no front man in our band because we think that's your job. So- on your way out the door, offer your older brother or sister a heartfelt thanks for making you listen to the Pixies and U2, then nail a copy of the Misfits boxset to the door of your favorite club. And keep on walking to that basement party where we're playing.
