Shallow Truths is a modern metalcore band based out of Detroit, MI. Breaking into local success quickly, their debut single “The Depths” garnered attention for its unique blend of modern metal and old-school metalcore/post-hardcore. In February 2020, the band released the title track of their upcoming debut album “Alive Again” accompanied by a music video that attracted an almost immediate regional surge in attention and more than 75,000 views. Their debut LP (mixed and mastered by Andrew Wade) tackles issues like depression, anxiety, loss, and existential crises by conveying raw emotion over relentlessly riffing guitars, and delivering melodic choruses that leave the listener humming indefinitely. Shallow Truths takes metalcore to its roots, while maintaining a consciousness of modern production trends and familiarity with superb songwriting.
