4 Guys that call themselves Seven Board. Seven Board is best described by the passion and stories of the members that form the band. Three years ago Matthew, guitar, started writing music in his garage. A self taught musician Matthew worked tirelessly crafting his own "style". A big reason for the unique sound of Seven Board comes from this lack of outside influence. The next step was to take this music from rythmic melodic jams and add the passionate words that make Seven Board songs so catchy and moving. Breaking from the normal process of writing music to lyrics SB takes the opposite approach and this is accomplished so seemlessly due to the ear and creativity of singer/lyricist Garrett. He has the unique ability to feel the passion Matthew writes with and portray it in words. With life issues and double meaning littered throughout SB lyrics there is a definite sense of relation that can be gathered by the individual with whom the song speaks to. All that was left now was to solidify the heart beat of the band. After years of bass players and drummers coming in and out the solution finally resolved itself with the addition of Georg (bass) and Jon (drums). These new influences can really be heard in the newest songs "Otherside" and "Stimulus Bill". The songs show a maturity in both message and musical complexity and serve as the foundation of where the band hopes to go.
