Unwilling to settle in the shadows, INDY Awards 2008 Finalists (Best Alternative Act) Services Rendered Club continues to garner recognition and reverence in London’s underground music scene. Brixton-born and Balham-bred, the enigmatic quartet has progressed from acoustic infancy to electric adolescence since its inception in 2005. With persistent song writing and relentless live performances, the "sun-drenched indie pop rock" of 2006 has developed a "dark edge" and vivacity that reverberates with endurance to its audience. With increasing radio and TV exposure and the recent digital release of its eponymous debut EP, 2008 looks set to be a year of limitless possibilities. SRC are currently taking a break from gigging to work on some new material but will be back on the live scene in 2009.
