Started piano lessons at 4 mainly for the chocolate bar or the chocolate bread roll and the orange soda drink bottle he had once a week at the end of nursery school where his mother collected him. Didn't last long despite this reward! Resumed piano lessons at the age of 8 for 2 years, and then again at 14 simply because he had a friend in secondary school who was a very good classical music piano player and he couldn't patiently put up with his competition. Discovered "Oxygene" by Jean Michel Jarre in London in 1976 and fell in love with the electronic sounds he heard there. Realized that some of the sounds or some of the instrumental music that he liked as TV music background or selected by TV sound illustrators he had been looking for were similar to those. Thereafter couldn't go without looking for record sleeves where the word synthesizer was written. Started buying almost all the ones he could find on the market within his financial capabilities at that time. Bought his very first synthesizer (a Teisco) with a friend at 16 they sold later, then a CS 40 M by Yamaha which he sold as well after a while, and his very first modular synthesizer (a Roland System 700 main console) in 1980 a
