Seraphyx is a 'Gash' (Thrash/Glam) Metal band formed in Sydney, Australia in 2009. A four piece all-female metal band residing throughout Sydney, Australia. Seraphyx plays heavy 'GASH' METAL, a mixture between heavy thrash and melodic glam-metal elements. Imagine a band that uses harmonic leads similar to that of Iron Maiden and Mötley Crüe, heavy and demonic riffs reminiscent of Metallica and Black Sabbath, and a kick-arse female vocalist that sounds like nothing you've heard before. After its conception in late 2009, Seraphyx began the Battle of the Bands legacy, winning People's Choice at Ryde Battle of the Bands 2011. Seraphyx spent the prize money on their first demo/EP.
