Colin Morris and Lucas Freshman both hail from Syracuse, NY. They spent a decade in New York City, and now reside in San Francisco. Semiconductors formed in 2007. The music has a host of influences, with hip-hop beats, post-rock guitars, pop synthesizers, and North African and Near Eastern overtones. Colin’s favorite dance is the achy breaky IMF power grab.
