Semi Jaupaj is an Albanian singer. At the age of 10, she fell in love with music, Semi marks her first participation in an official music competition, the "National Festival of Children" Shkodra. For 3 years in a row, among which the first 2 years she was part of the finals of this competition (at that time important), while at the age of 13 in the same festival she was announced as the best singer. Then this ambition for music materialized in the Art High School "Jordan Misja" where Semi Jaupaj started and finished his studies for canto. Her debut in modern music was in May 2010, Semi Jaupaj participates in Top Fest 7 with the song "Afer Meje". A few months later she participated in the talent show "Star Academy", a competition in which she won 2nd place as a singer. In November 2010, Semi participates in "Kënga Magjike 2010" with the song "Energji Pozitive", a song by Bojken Lako that qualified for the Semi-Final. In December 2010, Albi Xhepa & Sam Jaupaj participate in the 49th ART Festival with the song "Drite", a duet that was evaluated as the best song of the Youth Category, appearing in the finals.
