So, it all started out in Haga, Karlstad where Alex and Oscar lives. They were both very much into hardrock and everything that goes with it so they started rehearsing some cover songs in alex appartment. About a year later they teamed up with me and an other guitarist. We started rehearsing together at a place called Tolvan. For the first year or so we played mostly Metallica songs and a few other covers, did some gigs and it all went pretty well. Some time in the early 2004 we started to make some songs of our own. At the same time the unnamed guitarist left the band due to some conflicts and different opinions... Tolvan In spring 2004 the first demo called Sorrow was made at JOAMI Recordings. It’s a very plain and simple demo. All the songs are pretty straight forward and not to complicated. Anyway, it felt right at the time. Nowadays Selter is more of a Hardcore-metal band with the ambition to play good, hard, pounding-in-the-face kind of music. So the saga continues, and hopefully we will be around for a long, long time, playing our good, hard, pounding-in-the-face kind of music.
