A lot can be said about Self Suffice the RapOet. Most importantly, he loves to perform and people love to watch him. That's why his hood-soul-intellectual flow has been showcased & discussed along side poets including Alice Walker and Jessica Care Moore, MCs including KRS-ONE and Talib Kweli, in venues ranging from the Nuyorican Poets Cafe to Yale University, and in media ranging from NPR to MTV. He is now enjoying a wave of critical acclaim for his new album "Manhattan Night" featuring Mez (of J Cole's Dreamville) and Young Cee (produced for Little Brother, 50 Cent). When not performing, recording, or teaching RapOetry classes, he offers one day Workshops and Lectures.
