The Seinäjoki Orchestra was founded in 1936. The orchestra's regular instrumental ensemble consists of a string quintet and a wind quintet, and if necessary, the instrumental ensemble is supplemented by nearby professional musicians. The orchestra's main focus is on chamber music. The Seinäjoki City Orchestra, the former Seinäjoki Orchestra, was founded in 1936. It belongs to the main orchestras with ten full-time musicians. The Seinäjoki City Orchestra will give a concert in the 410-seat Seinäjoki Hall, which is specifically designed for music use.
