Segment 7 is a Yorkshire music producer. He got into making music when he was about 15 although it wasnt really making music it was just arranging drum beats and samples. At the time it was more hip-hop and drum & bass orientated as he hadn't discovered anything else by then. In 06/ 07 he fell in love with psychedelic trance and bought a pair of CD decks and started mixing. Segment 7 and some friends stated Cranky Radio, in association with Cranky Sound System. About half a year later he started playing on Fruity Loops again initially hoping to be producing psytrance. Unfortunately as he had near to no production experience he believed his technical skill was no where near good enough to make good enough psytrance. Therefore he started producing a variety of different genres - various other types of house, jungle, breakcore, a bit of technical drum and bass and a bit of dubstep.
