See Land is the experimental side project of Doug Kaplan from The Earth is a Man. His debut self-titled album is available at http://seeland.bandcamp.com/ . The album focuses on four inter-connected ambient pieces for open-tuned 12 string electric guitar. The other four pieces on the album explore droning in many ways: sample and loop based, synthesizers and sequencing, tribal trips, generative music, etc. Kaplan, who also often performs live as The Doug Kaplan exhibiting noise-folk music, intends to use the See Land name for all solo experimental music henceforth.
