Sector 5 is a band hailing from Berlin, known for their mosaic of pop, rock and hip-hop elements featuring funky basslines and melodic vocals. The two brothers Sami and Mika, after years of making music together, met what would later become their bassist, Jules, and their guitarist, Johann, during their studies at BIMM Institute Berlin. Having performed at local venues such as Lido, Cassiopeia, Gretchen and Heimathafen Neukölln, having been featured in open air slots, and having appeared on podcasts and radio, Sector 5 has established a name for itself in the Berlin music scene. The band most notably won the. 16th edition of the "Welcome to Europe" song contest with their winning track "Move to London" even reaching the Amazon charts.
