Unnoficially: A musical kick in the balls formed beneath the smog of Teesside Officially: Secret Signal take the synthesizer pop sound of 1983, throw it with disregard into the baggy sounds of The Stone Roses and The Music backing it up with balshy Brit-pop guitars to create a dancefloor sound that wouldn't be out of place at a dirty indie disco or at one of Jeremy Healy's exclusive club nights in Ibiza. Impressing many of the Indie glitterati, the Teessiders have swaggered through support slots with the likes of Hard-Fi, Boy Kill Boy, VHS or BETA and Infadels in the last year before drinking the headliners under the table "because they can". They are: Lizz Hill (voice), Jake Radio (voice & grooves), Macca (riffs), LZY (beats) and Chris Minnellium (keys and jumping around) How to stalk: Usually they're found flailing around manically on Teesside's Rock'n'Roll dancefloors or at www.secretsignal.co.uk and myspace.com/secretsignalmusic User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
