Artist
Sebastian Deledda (1974 - present) is an American songwriter, musician, producer and film-maker. Originally from Michigan, he now lives in the Southern US. His Antiprise Records albums are Truesolo; a process where one musician writes everything - all parts on all instruments and lyrics, sets up the studio, performs and records each part on each instrument one at a time, performs all vocals, then edits and produces the album and designs and produces the logos and album cover art and photography. Depending on the album, Sebastian's style ranges from laid-back indie love songs to rockabilly/punk/guitar-laden instrumentals. He is also the guitarist for the Celtic fusion band Lucid Druid, featuring internationally renowned World Champion bagpiper Adam Quinn, and is half of the Antiprise collaboration Drugstore Volcano (with William Brainard of UV Gowns and More Humane Assassins.) Sebastian has worked as a musician and producer a wide array of albums; from World Music like African drum band Anja Hara and Celtic fusion band Lucid Druid to 60's folk-pop singer Melanie. He founded Antiprise Records in 1996 with his brother, graphic artist Noah Deledda (who has worked with Rock Action, Enjoy, Iggy Pop and The Stooges and Scott Asheton.) Sebastian is also a descendent of Grazia Deledda, an Italian writer from Sardinia who won the Nobel Prize for literature.
