Season of Ghosts is a pioneering electronic metal band based in London, UK, known for its boundary-pushing, intergalactic fusion of East-meets-West musical influences. Founded by Sophia Aslanides, former vocalist of the influential Japanese trance metal outfit, Blood Stain Child, and later joined by the versatile orchestra conductor and multi-instrumentalist Zombie Sam, Season of Ghosts was born in the heart of Tokyo and emerged onto the music scene in 2013. Sophia, who was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece, moved to Japan in 2010 and put herself on the map as the singer of BLOOD STAIN CHILD. In just a short time, she managed to become one of the most acknowledged female vocalists within the Japanese metal industry, known not only for her band work, but also for a number of esteemed collaborations. The debut album, "The Human Paradox", launched in 2014 and garnered significant acclaim from critics and fans alike. "The Human Paradox" was mixed and mastered by Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi, GYZE, Babymetal, Blood Stain Child) and released via Coroner Records worldwide and Howling Bull in Japan. The band's recognisable blend of European, Japanese and American heavy rock & metal culminated in the captivating sophomore album, "A Leap of Faith" in 2018, as the band relocated its base to London, UK.
