Playing the roles of musician, producer, and engineer he completed several LPs, EPs and multiple award-winning scores for short films. After graduating with a degree in film production and philosophy, Renner moved to London, England, where he recorded his well-received record “The Blossoms of Armageddon” for the UK-based Urban Sound label. Upon returning to the US in 2007, Renner continued to make a name for himself both as a recording artist and as a live performer. On the stage he merges live instrumentation and vocals with his own form of sampling and looping to create a truly unique style of music that his listeners describe as Acoustic/Electronic/Experimentation. Renner's newest record, “Sekhmet”, is a true work of art that creates a beautiful blend of sonic elements and paints a deep, lush, and captivating emotional landscape. Renner continues to push the limits of the singer/songwriter archetype, yet remains accessible, personal and intimate, displaying an elegant combination of musical and technical prowess.
